Amazon Resale: buy returns the smart way.

Items customers sent back – often just unboxed – are inspected by Amazon, graded and sold again for less. The offer used to be called “Amazon Warehouse”. On a product page they usually appear under the buy box as “Used – Like New” or in “Other sellers”.

• Like New: looks unused, packaging may be opened, accessories complete.
• Very Good: minimal signs of use, barely visible.
• Good: visible marks such as scratches, small accessories may be missing.
• Acceptable: clear signs of use, works fine – rarely offered.

The grade describes the looks. What is missing – accessories, manual, original box – is stated in the offer description.

Amazon sells these items itself; the return window is shown with each offer. In the EU a seller may limit the legal guarantee for used goods to one year, and a manufacturer warranty is not certain.
